Can I get ‘Live Timing’ on my mobile device?

Yes you can – as long as your mobile device has a web browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari or Opera. You simply go to www.protiming.co.za and click on the Live Timing tab.

I have my own personal website, can I get a live feed to display on my personal website?

It may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, displayed, published or broadcast in any way whatsoever without the prior written permission of Pro Timing. All trademarks and intellectual properties remain the properties of their rightful and respective owners.

How do I mount the transponder on my vehicle?

The rechargeable transponders have a separate mounting bracket which must be permanently mounted on the vehicle in the position determined by the category or association. This can easily be done by using cable ties or pop rivets. The transponder must be mounted vertically, as the arrows on it indicate, with as little or no metal between it and the track.

What happens if I forget to return my transponder to timekeeping?

You can contact the timekeeper who officiated at the event by using the contacts tab on the menu at the top of the page, or send an email to info@protiming.co.za. The transponder must be returned no later than the Tuesday following the event or you will be liable for a R500 fine.
